Bruce and his team handed the work required efficiently and quickly despite the age of the wiring the house. I will always recommend him for any electrical work required in the future!
When your attic traps heat, your AC can't keep up. A vented attic fan pulls that hot air out fast.

Henderson summers push attic temps past 150 degrees, and that heat doesn't stay put. It soaks through your ceiling, bakes your insulation, and makes your AC run nonstop. Older homes near Water Street District and Pittman often have undersized wiring that struggles under this extra load. We've seen attic wiring insulation crack and crumble from years of trapped heat. An attic fan pulls hot air out before it builds up. This protects your roof deck. It also cuts your cooling bill. This Old House has good notes on how solar attic fans work.[1] They explain why venting matters. Waiting until your AC bill spikes costs you more. Waiting until your shingles curl costs you more too.
If your second floor feels hotter than the rest of the house, trapped attic heat is likely the cause. A fan moves that air out fast.
An overheated attic forces your AC to work harder. Venting that heat out takes pressure off your whole cooling system.
A fan that's stopped spinning or makes grinding noises won't protect your roof anymore. We replace these with properly wired units.
Trapped heat bakes roof shingles from underneath. We've seen this shorten roof life by years in Anthem and Cadence homes.
Poor attic ventilation traps moisture too, which leads to mold on rafters and insulation. A fan keeps air moving.
Adding solar or upgrading your panel is a good time to add attic ventilation too. We can wire both at once.
A poorly wired attic fan is a fire risk, not just a comfort problem. Waiting on a weak fan means more heat damage and higher bills every week you put it off. We wire these to code and test them before we leave, so you're not stuck wondering if it actually works.
Don't let another Henderson summer bake your attic and spike your power bill. Call now and we'll get your attic fan wired and running fast.
We keep the process simple so you know what's happening at every step.
We look at your attic space, existing wiring, and panel capacity. This tells us the right fan size and location for your roof.
We run a dedicated circuit if needed and mount the fan securely in the roof or gable. All connections are sealed against dust and heat.
We run the fan, check the thermostat or humidistat settings, and show you how it works. You'll know exactly what to expect going forward.
Pricing depends on your attic's size, whether you need new wiring, and if you pick a solar or electric fan. Older homes near Boulder Hwy sometimes need panel work first, which adds to the cost. Newer Inspirada and Cadence homes usually have the wiring already in place, which keeps costs lower. We give you a free estimate before any work starts, so there are no surprises on the bill.

Bruce was very helpful in getting to the root of the problem with my portable ac units. He explained what caused the issue and went so far as to check another outlet that had been out for awhile. 10/10 recommend!
There was no pre wiring above my dining room table to hang up a chandelier, and Bruce went above and beyond to make it happen. Now I have a chandelier in my dining area..It looks great!! I also had him add an extra outlet outside in my patio area to hang the TV up as well along with mounting the TV cover. It looks amazing. Bruce was professional and service was clean. His company is exceptional and he exceeded my expectations. Giving BRB a double 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bruce showed up ahead of schedule and spent 10 minutes to identify and fix problem. Very courteous and friendly and knowledgeable. Very satisfied!!
I solicited an electrician for a 125 foot, 40 amp outside run for my new hot tub. The first estimate came in at $3600, which I thought was pretty high. Bruce, of BRB electric LLC, did the whole job in about half a day for $2200. That’s still a lot of money, but it is a lot less than $3600. Bruce was personable and knowledgeable and did a very nice job, including cleanup. I would highly recommend Bruce and BRB electric LLC if someone needs quality electrical work.
Thanks Bruce

Bruce was awesome to work with! He gave a very reasonable and accurate quote for the work to be done (Tesla charger.) He was also very deliberate in the work and made it very clear that I could contact him any time with any potential concerns. Highly recommend!
I purchased a new Tesla Y . Bruce installed the Tesla charging cord in my garage . He kept me informed of installation details. I’m going to have him install a new Ring Doorbell & transformer. He cleaned up the floor after installation. I strongly recommend Bruce with BRB Electric LLC.
Very professional, friendly, fast and fair prices. A few things in our house were broken or needed replacing (including new fans). The work was completed quickly and cleanly. We will entrust Bruce with our next projects as well.
Bruce did electrical work for my husband. It was quite extensive and time consuming. He was fantastic. We have found our electrician for all our future electrical needs from now on. We do not need to look anywhere else. We are so glad we found him. He's polite and very knowledgeable. We've had other electricians but Bruce performed above them all.
Here are answers to what Henderson homeowners ask us most.
Most installs run between $350 and $900. The price depends on fan type and whether new wiring is needed. Older homes near Boulder Hwy sometimes cost more due to outdated panels.
Most jobs take two to four hours. If your panel needs upgrading first, it can take longer. We'll tell you upfront during the estimate.
We don't recommend it. Attic wiring in Henderson's heat degrades fast, and a bad connection is a fire risk. A licensed electrician also pulls the required permit.
Solar fans cost more upfront but run free off sunlight, which suits our sunny climate well. Electric fans cost less to install but add a small amount to your power bill.
Pretty urgent. Ongoing heat damages your roof deck and wiring insulation over time. Getting it fixed before peak summer saves you money and stress.
A hot upper floor, rising AC bills, or a fan that's stopped spinning are the big signs. Grinding noises or visible rust on the fan housing also mean it's time.
Yes, if the work involves new circuit wiring or touches your main panel. We handle the Henderson Building & Fire Safety Department permit for you.
